Arcane Rising
First Edition Printed December 2019 / Released March 27, 2020
Arcane Rising is a pivotal set in the Flesh and Blood Trading Card Game, immersing players into the vibrant world of Rathe, where magic and technology intertwine. The lore centers around the rise of magical art known as Arcane, which has the power to manipulate the very fabric of reality. The set features spell-slinging wizards, twisted abominations, and exciting products of human ingenuity.
Arcane Rising is the second booster set for Flesh and Blood (printed and released after Welcome to Rathe). Arcane Rising introduced four new heros:
-
Dash Inventor Extraordinaire, Mechanologist Hero
-
Azalea Ace in the Hole, Ranger Hero
-
Viserai Rune Blood, Runeblade Hero
-
Kano Dracai of Aether, Wizard Hero

The set was released in March 2020. The booster set contains a total of 219 cards. The Arcane Rising boxes hold 24 packs per box and each pack contains 16 cards.
Within the Arcane Rising Set comes a variety of cards and rarity. Each of these First Edition cards has a 'pull rate' which is the number of copies made of each particular card for the set. The rarer the card the lower the 'pull rate' pointing to the probability of its rise in value.
Below you will find some helpful information about Arcane Rising First Edition Pull Rates
-
Fabled Rarity - A fabled card has a pull rate of 1 in every 960 packs ..... and remember that there are 24 packs in one box. Based on the number of boxes printed, there is a total of only 418 fabled cards in this set. This means you can expect to pull a fabled card once in every 15,360 cards!
-
Legend Rarity - A legend card has a pull rate of 1 in every 96 packs ..... 10 times more rare that a fabled card! There are 5 Legendary cards in Arcane Rising.
-
Cold Foil Finish - a cold foil finish card has a pull rate of 1 in every 24 packs ..... there are 16 cards in the full deck with the cold foil finish and this is the total population pull rate.
-
Marvel Finish - there are NO marvel finish cards in this set.
-
Short Print - there are NO short print cards in this set.
Only 16,700 First Edition boxes were printed, and all were printed in Belgium. Compare this to the fact that 179,000 boxes were printed in the UNLIMITED Edition and these boxes were all printed in Belgium. First Edition and Unlimited Editions are both out-of-print.
Moerlo and Nnyleac call Welcome to Rathe (1st set), Arcane Rising (2nd set) and Crucible of War (3rd Set) the WAC.
Included with the first three sets we also reference the first ever deck IRA, Crimson Haze deck and the first four Hero Decks released with Welcome to Rathe. These first three booster sets and the first four hero decks are out-of-print and are highly collectable. Beware of subsequent decks sets and the unlimited editions of the first three booster sets as they are not as collectable due to the larger print runs.
