Collectors & Investors

For collectors and investors, Flesh and Blood Trading Card Game (FaB TCG) presents a unique card market with the highest quality artwork, a growing dedicated playing community, and a focus on limited edition cards for collectors.  Particularly Short Printed cards, Cold Foil overlay processing, and Marvel versions of specially selected cards designed with exquisite art, double sided and printed with special overlay processing.  These cards can hold significant value, although it is important to remember that the market is still growing and considered a speculative investment due to the newness of the game.

Features to look for in collectable cards (i.e. certain aspects of an asset that make it valuable)

The card's condition - A card's condition has a tremendous impact on it's worth.  Most should be in MINT or NEAR MINT condition for collectors to deem valuable.

The year printed - Most cards are like wines, their value increases with time.  The year a card was printed also determines it's scarcity,  Usually the first prints or the older the card the more it is worth.

Graded cards - Collectors basically do not know the real condition of a particular card.  A third party grading ensures the card is authentic and possesses the condition in a precise fashion.  The graded cards will always be in MINT or NEAR MINT condition due to being sealed in a heavy plastic case, protecting it from damage.

Rarity - Individual collectors as well as major wall street funds invest in age and rarity for such collectable categories as limited editions prints, short prints (i.e. restricted supply or low population), early printings, alternative art, and foiled cards.  First prints are the major factor with investing.

Consider these facts:

  • In 1993 Magic The Gathering (MTG) issued their first card set: By Wizards of the Coast.  From a collector / investor stand point a first edition card (Black Lotus) sold at auction in 2024 for $3 MILLION DOLLARS!

  • Pokemon (originally called Pocket Monsters) came along in 1996.  At auction a first edition box of Pokemon will cost you $165,000!

These two storied card games are 30 years old and both are still going strong for players, collectors and investors.

Those that bought and held Magic The Gathering and/or Pokemon cards in the early days were speculating that the value of some cards would go up ... and many have gone WAY UP!

** Our fundamental principle for collecting and investing is **

If a Flesh and Blood card, sleeve, or box increase in value, you should already own it!
